New Mexico Medical Board CME Requirements
Annual State CME Requirements for New Mexico
- 75 total hours every 3 years
- 75 CME (Any)
Seventy-five hours of continuing medical education are required for each licensed physician during each triennial renewal cycle. CME may be earned at any time during the licensees three year renewal period, July 1 through June 30, immediately preceding the triennial renewal date.

New Mexico Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners CME Requirements
Annual State CME Requirements for New Mexico
- 75 total hours every 3 years
- 75 Category 1 CME
The New Mexico board of osteopathic medical examiners will require seventy-five (75) hours of continuing education every three years in required education, category I. These may be distributed over the three year period, or they may all be obtained in one year. The board accepts one (1) credit hour for every clock hour of participation in a CME activity.
