Why One Nurse Ran a Marathon in Scrubs

A Philadelphia nurse found a remarkable way to combine her love of running with her passion for mental health advocacy: breaking a world record. During the 2022 Boston Marathon, she impressively set the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon run in scrubs. Wearing Moxie Scrubs for comfort, she ran to honor her colleagues and raise awareness about the importance of nurses' mental health. Her effort also supported the American Nurses Foundation’s Well-Being Initiative, a cause close to her heart.
