FAIR (HR 751), among other things, proposes that residencies can (read: must) accept COMLEX-USA and USMLE as equivalent tests, and accept either score. They don’t require DO acceptance, but there’s a reporting requirement tied to reimbursement on number of osteopathic and allopathic applications received by a hospital.
