    This is a radiograph of a lung infected by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the causative agent in tuberculosis (TB). The upper lobe is the most common location of a TB infection of the lungs. The typical findings are cavitation (round black holes due to local loss of lung tissue), fibrosis, lymphadenopathy, and calcifications.
