Infertility is defined as 1 year of unprotected intercourse without conception. Between 85% and 95% of couples will conceive within 1 year; however, up to 15% of couples may be affected by infertility. Broken down further, 57% of couples will conceive at 3 months, 72% will conceive at 6 months, and another 93% will conceive at 2 years.
